Paul's Ace Hardware

Today I encountered Frank at Ace hardware, the rudest man I've ever met in a customer service environment. He was called over as a "plumbing expert", since we had questions and didn't know exactly what we needed in order to do the repair. Frank was immediately rude and impatient. In about 2 minutes time he threw down the pipe he had in his hand, said if we don't know what we need then he was leaving and that we needed to make up our mind. If Frank knows absolutely nothing about plumbing, he's simply needed the state that. I've worked in customer service for years and I would never dream of treating somebody in that way. Zero stars for Frank. If you hate people and know nothing about tools or hardware you should not be working in customer service at a hardware store! We also heard him being rude to another customer as we were checking out. On another note, Brandon, the store manager was fantastic. Extremely helpful. Thank you Brandon! We might actually come back because of you. Hope to never see Frank again!

Just wanted to remind everyone how awful of a store manager and person Brandon is. You really have to feel bad for his employees because I know most of them work hard and are good people. Update: They’re not personal attacks, they are true. I feel like your customers should know about how treats employees and customers in general. Also, I did tell you previously about Brandon’s poor attitude but you didn’t care so I thought reviews would be helpful. Have a great day.

Worst ace hardware in the country Nov 7 2003 10:am cash register #1 chris the older lady 👵 would not honor military discount she said you must show identification so we went all the way to the car to go all the way back in to be denied 😀 unbelievable will avoid this establishment aswell I encourage veterans to choose a different ace hardware 👍

I have never been more insulted in my life by staff at any store. Before I even got in the door I was rudely greeted by one of your employees. Or should I say not greeted. Then he got on phone/walkie talkie and told inside employees to keep an eye on my associate and me. We asked where we would find irrigation supplies only to be watched by two employees standing at the end of the aisle. Then one came down to where we were looking and was very condescending in his attitude. Never once did he ask if we found what we were looking for or if we needed help. I am not a thief I have never been a thief. I have spent thousands of dollars in that store. I will not be spending money in your store again

Paul's Ace Hardware in Fountain nHills, AZ, is our go-to place, whenever we are in need of anything hardware-related or when we need advice or a helping hand/fix-it person. The people there are always very friendly and helpful. We can't recommend it highly enough -- five stars, all the way! Thanks, Paul's, for employing such great people!
